Errol & Mariana Are Back in China

Some journeys never really end – they simply pause for a while…

After some years away, my heart is full knowing that we are back in China, a place that has taught me so much and shaped the therapist and teacher I am today.

I’m revisiting with Errol Lynch, who has helped push my own growth. We’ll be visiting many of the hospitals, teachers, doctors, colleagues and friends who have been such an important part of our journey, while also exploring new cities, new hospitals and meeting new practitioners. I’m excited to see how Chinese medicine continues to evolve, learn different approaches, build new connections and continue growing both personally and professionally.

Every visit reminds me that no matter how much we learn, there is always more to discover. It is a privilege to remain a lifelong student.

How Being Back in China Will Benefit Touch Tuina

One of the things I’m most excited about is in the near future we will be bringing back our Touch Tuina Study Tours, allowing our students to experience China for themselves – not just through books or classrooms, but by standing in the hospitals, learning from experienced specialist doctors, understanding the culture and connecting with the lineage that has inspired Touch Tuina from the very beginning.

Over the years, everything I have been fortunate enough to learn from not only Errol but my other teachers, mentors and clinical experiences, has become the foundation of Touch Tuina. We’ve taken that traditional knowledge, respected its roots and continued to build upon it through years of study, research and hands-on clinical practice. In doing so, we’ve created our own little piece of magic, blending authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine with our own experience and passion for healing, while always honouring the lineage from which it came.

Why China is So Important To Us…

For me, learning isn’t just about techniques, it’s about understanding the people, the history, the philosophy and the culture that give Traditional East Asian Medicine its depth and meaning.

This trip isn’t just about looking back, it’s about looking forward. Reconnecting with old friends, creating new collaborations, discovering new places and hospitals and bringing home fresh knowledge, inspiration and opportunities for everyone who is part of the Touch Tuina family.

China… it’s been too long. I can’t wait to see you again. 🇨🇳❤️
