It’s Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK this week, so it’s a suitable time to take a step back and really consider our current mental state, and what we’re doing to take care of it.

What is Mental Health Awareness Week?

Mental Health Awareness week is an annual campaign shining light on the significance of good mental health. The campaign aims to promote resources and actions that people can take to improve and support their mental health. It also strives to challenge stigma around the topic.

This year’s theme is Action.The organisation has chosen this theme because ‘while awareness is vital, real change comes when we take action too’.

TCM emphasises treating the root causes of stress and low mood, not just its symptoms. By addressing underlying imbalances and supporting the body’s natural healing abilities, Tuina therapies can offer a comprehensive path to long-term mental well-being.
