How to do The Ankle Stretch
This stretch is performed seated and is particularly beneficial in the mornings before getting out of bed!
- Begin seated comfortably on a chair or bed with one leg extended
- Slowly rotate your ankle in a clockwise direction
- Reverse the movement and rotate anti-clockwise
- 5-6 rotations in each direction should do it
- Switch legs and repeat
This simple ankle stretch gets the blood going in your lower body through the calves, helps with mobility and is ideal for anyone who has a desk job or has to be on their feet.
