Qualified and accredited by Acupuncture Society London in Auricular acupuncture, Orthopaedic Acupuncture, scalp, abdominal, Korean Hand/SuJok (microsystem acupuncture). Trained and practices Dr Tan Balance and Global Method Acupuncture.

Advanced certification in Kiniesiology.

Holds an Adult Teaching qualification and runs courses in Tuina, Cupping, Moxibustion, Guasha, facial therapy amongst many others.

She has a vested interest in herbs and likes to make her own liniments, tinctures and creams. Part of her future planning is to incorporate some of her culinary joy and knowledge of Asian Food energetics with the use of herbs, as my view is “thy food is thy medicine”. Mariana is an experienced raw food chef and natural herbalist after studying Nutritional Therapy and has created outstanding adaptogenic herbal blends further contributing to the good health of her patients.

Mariana has been performing treatments ranging from Swedish, Holistic, Aromatherapy, Sports and Deep Tissue massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage, Reiki, Kiniesiology, Nutritional advice and Buccal facial lift Massage including advanced facial rejuvenation (acupuncture facials), Ayurvedic Body and detoxification treatments and Paediatric Tuina massage for child health.

Royal Free Hospital

Working with the Cancerkin foundation at the Royal Free Hospital performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage Medical Therapy for post cancer and post-operative patients.

Mariana holds Tuina certificates and diplomas with Touch Tuina UK and from Zhe Jiang Provincial Hospital in China. She currently practices Tuina as her main form of treatment for most ailments that current clients present themselves with. Also instrumental in helping to form and deliver “Student to Master” Tuina training programme alongside Errol Lynch.

Work with Jamaican Olympic team
In 2018 she began to work with the Jamaican Olympic team treating their young athletes and working with the local football team, Arnett Gardens and the National team The Reggae Boys in Jamaica.
As a result of Touch Tunia presence in Jamaica they have sponsored several tennis tournaments over the years; one in Negril (Swept Away) and one in Kingston (Liguanea Sports Club).

Mariana alongside Errol Lynch also works with and sponsors young athletes in track and field, Tennis, Football (Arsenal, West Ham) Boxing and Golf. She also treats many musicians working with posture and endurance.
Also a visiting holistic health practitioner and trainer at Kamalaya Health Spa in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Currently based in North London, co-owning and working from her own teaching clinic Touch Tuina and Utopia Health & Wellbeing in East Finchley.
